Technical Briefs at Euro PM2025
A new opportunity to communicate your results at Euro PM!
During the Euro PM2025 Congress & Exhibition in Glasgow, participants will have the opportunity to deliver concise Technical Briefs. These 10-minute presentations, including Q&A, can cover any aspect of Powder Metallurgy (PM) research, industrial achievements, and technical or economic analyses of PM processes, with the same criteria as the normal technical presentations.
The Technical Briefs aim to foster knowledge exchange, stimulate discussions, and encourage collaboration within the PM community. They can be used to convey preliminary results, and as they will not end up in the congress proceedings, the topic can be later published by the authors without issues. This format may be ideal for students to show their ongoing works and get feedback from the community before publication on a journal.
Abstract submission is open until 5 June 2025. An EPMI (European Powder Metallurgy Institutes) Committee will evaluate submissions based on the quality of the abstract and the responses in the submission form. Selected presentations will be grouped into three Technical Briefs sessions, taking place on Wednesday, 17 September 2025, in the PM Forum inside the exhibition. Due to the session time available, the number of selected presentations will be limited to 15.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
• Abstracts must be between 100 and 150 words, providing sufficient information for the EPMI Committee to evaluate the proposed presentation.
• No manuscript is required for Technical Briefs, and presentations will neither be reviewed nor published in the congress proceedings.
• All abstracts will be assessed by the EPMI Committee, which reserves the right to reject any submission that does not meet its evaluation criteria.
